Shine Dentistry is an emergency dental clinic where we operate on a triage based patient intake system:

  • Children and patients with the most severe dental symptoms are triaged first.

  • Patients seeking cleanings (hygiene) are seen on a first come-first serve basis.

Shine Dentistry provides: dental extractions*, fillings, root canals*, cleanings, and pediatric exams*

*referral to University of Alberta for affordable treatment may be necessary.

  • Please note: Shine Dentistry does not provide services involving dentures, crowns, bridges, or orthodontics.

  • Shine Dates Fall 2024 Semester: September 28, October 5, October 12, October 19, October 26, November 2, November 9, November 16, November 23, November 30, December 7

  • Please check the calendar to see if Shine is open this Saturday. Shine is not open in late July or August.

  • Shine will open at 8:10am. Patients may wish to line up sooner, however, children and those with the most severe dental symptoms will be seen first.

  • Patients seeking cleanings (dental hygiene) will be seen on a first come-first serve basis.

  • Patient care stops at 12:00pm. Patients seeking care after 12:00pm will need to return the next time Shine Dentistry is open.

  • Please note: Shine Dentistry does not provide scheduled appointments for patients.

When is Shine Dentistry open?
